Visitare una casa è una piccola avventura che si accetta di affrontare.
Gli ambienti del palazzo Tamborino Cezzi, nei quali gli ospiti sono accompagnati dal racconto di chi ci vive, sono alcune sale dell’antica ala di rappresentanza della dimora: l’ingresso con i ritratti di alcuni antenati, la stanza dei tondi (raccordo con l’appartamento privato), lo studio con la biblioteca, il salone del pianoforte, la veranda con le tempere pompeiane.
I visitatori ascolteranno le storie della città, della casa, delle sue pietre e delle famiglie che l’hanno abitata nei secoli, entrambe – pietre e famiglie – caratterizzate da un’intrinseca fragilità che le rende più care e solo per questo più preziose.

The rooms of the palace, in which the guests walk side by side with its owners, are rooms of the ancient representation wing of the house: the entrance with the portraits of some ancestors, the tondos' room, the studio and its library, the hall with the piano, the veranda with tempera painting in Pompeian style and exotic chinoiserie by Domenico Battista.
The visitors will listen to the stories of the house – of its 'stones' and of the families that lived it in the centuries – characterized by a intrinsic frailty that makes them more beloved and more precious.
Antico e mutevole come la natura e gli uomini, a oriente il palazzo è abbracciato da un pittoresco giardino rococò, aperto nel 1883.
In un orto di delizie, luogo di solitudine ma non di isolamento, spettatore discreto di conversazioni tra amici e di intimi soliloqui con se stessi, dimorano essenze venute da lontano, nel tempo e nello spazio, ma anche verdure, frutti e aromi della cucina di Terra d'Otranto: in ambiente volutamente naturale si mescolano agrumi, palmizi, boschetti di bambù, rose ad arbusto e rampicanti, iris e verdi portulache, cipressi svettanti, jacarande, bouganville, glicini e thunbergie, dature sanguigne, bordure di plumbachi, nasturzi e pitosfori …
To the west the palace looks onto the north-south artery of the Roman city, whilst to the east it is embraced by a picturesque Rococo garden, opened in 1883. This contains the typical elements of city gardens in Salento: in a deliberately natural atmosphere citrus trees, palms, bamboo thickets mix with both rose trees and climbing roses, irises and green purslane, tall cypresses, jacaranda trees, bougainvillea, wisteria and thunbergia, daturas and borders of plumbagos, nasturtiums and mock-orange…
Le Stanze delle meraviglie – Wunderkammer – raccontano la storia, ne testimoniano la vita passata e presente, la vita di chi vi risiede oggi e quella di chi vi ha dimorato nel passato. E poiché la vita di una famiglia è sempre intrecciata con quella della sua comunità, ecco che gli oggetti sono fonti di storia di un territorio e dei suoi uomini e delle loro vite.
Le cose, se le si sa guardare, si trasformano in bellezza, ed è bello osservare la vita degli oggetti/gli oggetti della vita, immaginarseli a proprio gusto, è dolce ammirare l’esistente scomparso, senza rimpianti, per viverlo e farlo vivere ancora e di più.
Proprio per questo le ‘cose’ di una casa sono meravigliose.
The Wonder Rooms tell the history, witness the past and present life, the life of current and previous families who lived the palace: and as the life of a family is always interlaced with that of its community, the objects here saved are source of history for a region and for its inhabitants.
The 'things', when people can look at them, turn into beauty, and it is wonderful to look at the life of the objects and at the objects of the life, it is sweet admire the vanished existence, with no regrets, to live it and make it live again.
That's why the 'things' of a house are just beautiful.

Le visite sono disposte su prenotazione. Si dislocano lungo un percorso che comprende la dimora, il giardino e le Wunderkammer. Sono guidate, in lingua italiana, direttamente dai proprietari e hanno una durata media di quaranta minuti.
Alle visite possono inoltre essere accompagnati assaggi e degustazioni di prodotti locali. Nelle sale suggestive della sua dimora, la famiglia offre squisite ed esclusive occasioni conviviali, nello stile e nei contenuti delle autentiche tradizioni familiari, regionali e dell’antico regno delle II Sicilie, consuetudini spontaneamente sempre vive. Vari formati sono a disposizione: drink, coffee break, lunch, dinner...
Visits are accorded previous booking. Visitors will be guided, directly by the owners of the Palace, along the courtyard, the garden, the dwelling and the Wonder Rooms. Each visit can last approximately 40 minutes.
Visitors can also enjoy tastings of local food and wines. In the suggestive frame of the palace, with its mosaic floors, neoclassical and renaissance rooms, liberty paintings and furnishings, the family offers delicious and exclusive friendly moments, according to the genuine family traditions. It is possible to provide elegant and sober lunch and dinner, appetizers and other moments of “good taste”. Menu and other details will be provided and tailored on each guest's preferences.
